Kanimozhi (56) is an Indian politician who served as MP in Thoothukudi. She is the daughter of the former CM of Tamil Nadu, M. Karunanidhi. She has completed her master's degree in economics at Ethiraj College for Women at Madras University. She was a Rajya Sabha member in 2007 and 2013. In 2019, she was elected to the Thoothukudi MP Constituency.
